On 06-30-2004 Travel Channel aired a program called "Thrill Parks" and rated Islands of Adventure the #1 theme park in world. Direct link to page on Travel Channel could not be found.

In 2002 Universal Studios was rated the 2nd best theme park in the world by the Travel Channel. The title states "Universal Studios", when the list is actually referring to "Islands of Adventure". (same location, seperately ticketed parks)
